SIOUX CITY | Mark Lee Landenberger, 54, of Sioux City passed away Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2014, at a Sioux City hospital.

Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

Mark Lee Landenberger was born on Feb. 5, 1960, in Bellflower, Calif., the son of Lee and Dorothy (Williamson) Landenberger.

He married Teresa DeRocher on Oct. 30, 1982, in Sioux City. To this marriage two children were born, Brennen and Kylee. Mark later married Caroline Major in 2002. Their marriage ended in 2013.

Mark was self-employed as a carpenter, for which he was known to be very particular about his work. Mark loved his job and worked seven days a week.

When he could get away, he enjoyed boating and being with his friends at his cabin at Minor's Bend. During his younger years, he enjoyed fishing with his father and taking a few fishing trips to Canada.

Mark is survived by his children, Brennen Landenberger of Hinton, Iowa, and Kylee Landenberger of Sioux City; his father, Lee Landenberger and his wife, Merry of Hawarden, Iowa; a brother, Jeff Landenberger of Lincoln, Neb.; two sisters, Penny White of Hawarden, and Shari Lenz and her husband, Gaylen of Lake Crystal, Minn.; a stepbrother, Alan Mace of Hawarden; a stepsister, Roxsi Topete of Hawarden; his ex-wives, Teresa Barkley of Hinton, and Caroline Major of Sioux City; nine nieces and nephews; and special friends, Greg and Lynn Van Ballegooyen and Terry and Lisa Kool.

Mark was preceded in death by his mother; uncles, Don and Darrell; and a sister-in-law, Cindy Landenberger.
