SIOUX CITY | Margaret Fern (Frazee) Britton, 94, formerly of Sioux City died Sunday, Sept. 21, 2014, at her home in the town of Trade Lake, Burnett County, Wis.

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home in Webster Wis., with Gene Olson officiating. Burial will be in Bluff Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today the funeral home. Visitation will resume 9 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent online to www.swedberg-taylor.com.

Margaret F. Britton was born on May 16, 1920, in Sioux City, to Herman "Harry" and Eva (Brinkerhoff) Frazee. On June 4, 1939, she was united in marriage to Lavern Britton. Margaret enjoyed life, everything from reading, gardening, sewing, canning, playing cards and games. She was loved by everyone who knew her or had just met her. She was an inspiration to all.

She is survived by six children, Marvin (Marlys) Britton of Merrill, Iowa, Margaret (Babe) Mickelson of Sioux City, Phillip (Marlys) Britton of Remsen, Iowa, Rodney (Connie) Britton of North Sioux City, Ralph (Jenell) Britton of Frederic, Wis., and Delores "Dee" Kurtz of Frederic; sister-in-law, Kathleen (widow of Chuck) Britton of Frederic; 18 grandchildren; and many, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; three brothers and three sisters, Jimmie (Genevieve) Frazee of Danbury, Wis., Robert (Margaret) Frazee of Danbury, Floyd (Kathy) Frazee of Trade Lake, Wis., Jean (Richard) Wynn of Sioux City, Maryann Reed of Erhard, Minn., and Patty (Jim) Carey of Lindstrom, Minn.; and many other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Herman "Harry" and Eva Frazee; her husband, Lavern Britton on May 30, 2008; her sons, Charlie "Chuck" Britton and Eugene Britton; five brothers; two sisters; and other family members.
