SOUTH SIOUX CITY | Thomalene S. "Tommi" Wittrock, 62, of South Sioux City passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2014, at a Sioux City hospital after a brief illness.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. The Rev. Kevin Roach will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 5 to 7 p.m., at the funeral home.

Tommi was born Aug. 8, 1952, in Sioux City. She was the daughter of Thomas and Delores (Williams) Sprague. Tommi grew up in Sioux City and graduated from Riverside High School in 1970.

She married Robert Wittrock on Nov. 18, 1971, in Elk Point, S.D. While Bob was in the service, Tommi worked in 13 different states. When they moved back to the Sioux City area, Tommi was the manager of the Casey’s Store in Dakota City, and was recently the manager of Republic Parking at the Sioux City airport.

Tommi loved to read, travel and spend time with her dogs.

Survivors include her husband, Bob, of South Sioux City; her sister, Lori Kavitz of Coleman, Fla.; and two nephews, Colon and Colton.
