Mrs. Joan Butler, 68, if 409 South Iowa, died in a hospital here Wednesday night after an operation.

The Westcott-Doughty-Chandler funeral home is in charge.

Mrs. Butler was born in Wyandot county, Ohio, April 14, 1870. She had been a resident of Sioux City the last 10 years.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. H. B. Grasmiller of Ft. Wayne, Ind., and Mrs. T. B. Fickle of Ltkemore, Ohio.
