Amos J. Long, 70, of 3126 Jackson, a retired contractor, died in a local hospital Friday after a long illness.

Mr. Long was born at Albany, N. Y., June 19, 1868. He came to Sioux City 47 years ago and had lived here since.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p. m. in West's funeral home. Rev. George C. Pullman will officiate. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Clarence Martin and a brother, William Long, both of Sioux City
