Funeral Services Held Monday For Ruth A. Wikstrom

Funeral services for Ruth A. Wikstrom, 89, of Moville, were held Monday August 14, 1989 at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of the Nazarene in Climbing Hill. The Rev. Galen Bennett officiated. Interment was in Westfork Township Cemetery in Climbing Hill under the direction of the McCulloch Funeral Home of Moville.

Music was provided by Mrs. Donna Bennett, "How Great Thou Art" and "Saved By Grace."

Casket-bearers were Messrs. Dick Babcock, Judd Wickstrom, Barry Wahlberg, Gerald Waldman, Dwight Wikstrom, Earl Tyer and Lyle Welty.

Miss Wikstrom was born August 16, 1899, in Bronson, Iowa, the daughter of John and Amelia (Erickson) Wikstrom. She lived in the Moville-Climbing Hill area most of her life, and moved to Moville in the spring of 1955.

She taught Country school for many years in Northwest Iowa, and taught 6th grade for seven years in the Newcastle, Nebraska Public Schools.

She was an active member of the Church of the Nazarene, where she taught Sunday School.

Miss Wikstrom died Thursday August 10, 1989 in a Sioux City nursing home of long illness.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

Memorials in her name will be accepted by the Church of the Nazarene.
