CLIMBING HILL, Iowa — Nona Pearl Moss, 87, Friendship Haven, Fort Dodge and formerly of Climbing Hill, retired teacher, died Tuesday at the residence.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Nelson-Berger Morningside Chapel in Sioux City. The Rev. Dale Lint of Climbing Hill Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Graceland Park Cemetery in Sioux City. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Friday until service time in the funeral home.
Miss Moss was born Dec. 5, 1899, on a farm east of Climbing Hill. She received a BA Degree from Morningside College in 1922. She taught mathematics in high schools at Marcus and Blair, Neb., and at Fort Dodge Senior High School from 1930 until she retired in 1969.
Miss Moss was a member of Business & Professional Women, United Methodist Church and Delta Kappa Gamma, all in Fort Dodge.
Survivors include a niece, Mrs. Charles (Sandi) Hoist of Climbing Hill.
