MOVILLE, Iowa — Emelia Pries, 93, of Moville, died Tuesday at Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Kingsley after a long illness.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Moville with the Rev. Gary J. Olson officiating. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m today at McCulloch-Wavrin Funeral Home.

Mrs. Pries, the former Emelia Bartholome, was born Aug. 3, 1892, in Royal Scot County. She moved to Woodbury County and Moville in 1900, lived on a farm two miles west of Moville, and attended grade school in Moville. She married William Pries on April 9, 1913, in Rock Branch. Mr. Pries preceded her in death.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
