30 December 2003Stephen D. Case, 49, of Sioux City died Saturday, Dec. 27, 2003, at his residence following a brief illness.
Services will be 3 p.m. today at Christy-Smith Morningside Chapel, with the Rev. Raymond Wieling officiating. Visitation will be noon until service time today, with a prayer service at 3 p.m., at the funeral home.
Mr. Case was born Jan. 23, 1954, in Sioux City, the son of Melvin James and Elanor Genevieve (Bork) Case. He lived his entire life in Sioux City and graduated from East High School. He served in the U.S. Army from 1972 to 1974 and was a Vietnam veteran. He attended Western Iowa Tech Community College and graduated with a degree in electrical engineering.
He married Kerry Marie Anderson on Jan. 17, 1974, in Fairbanks, Alaska. He was employed with the U.S. Post Office as a computer technician. He was employed briefly with Prince Manufacturing and owned and operated Lanier Business Products for several years.
Grateful for sharing his life are his wife, Kerry Marie (Anderson) Case of Sioux City; two sons, Jason Case and his wife, Nancy, and Josh Case; his parents, Melvin James and Elanor Genevieve Case; two sisters and their husbands, Barb and George Grant and Bev and Rick Holmes; a brother and his wife, Brad and Shari Case; his mother-in-law, Iris Anderson; three sisters-in-law, Kathy and her husband, Mitch Ayres, Marla and her husband, Mike Desy, and Tammie Anderson; two brothers-in-law and their wives, Kent and Marti Anderson and Michael and Janine Anderson; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends
