Arnold Eugene Nelson, 77, of Sioux City died Friday, Nov. 7, 2003, at a Sioux City care facility following a lengthy illness.

There will be a prayer service at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Riverside Lutheran Church.

Arnold Eugene Nelson was born Nov. 23, 1925, in Hudson, S.D. He owned and operated Midwest Coach Auto Body for many years.

He was a former member of the American Legion and the Eagles Club.

Survivors include five children, Monica Sinning of Sioux City, Lewis Nelson of Virginia, Shane Nelson, Amy Nelson of Illinois and Andrew Nelson and his wife, Tiffany of Sioux City; a sister, Delores Richter and her husband, Robert of Sioux City; a sister-in-law, Deanna Nelson of Hawarden, Iowa; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a daughter-in-law.
