14 December 2003LaNette L. Wright, 60, of Forreston, Ill., formerly of Sioux City, died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2003, at her daughter's home in Illinois.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 to 9 p.m. Monday, with the family present 6 to 9 p.m., at the funeral home.
LaNette Lee Wright was born Jan. 2, 1943 in Sioux City, the daughter of Randolph and LaNelle (Hooks) Puttman. She attended school in Leeds and graduated from Leeds High School. She then attended beauty school for two years.
She married Daniel R. Wright on Nov. 17, 1962 in Sioux City. He passed away April 26, 2002 in Freeport, Ill. Shortly after their marriage, the couple moved several times throughout the Midwest, until settling in Illinois in 1990. LaNette was a homemaker for the majority of her life until the last few years when she worked as a cashier at a grocery store. She also worked at the Brookfield Zoo in Chicago for a few years.
LaNette was an avid reader. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Danette and Greg Eytalis of Forreston, Ill.; a son and his wife, Kevin and Dana Wright of Fresno, Calif.; a brother, Donnie Puttman and his wife, Karla, of Sioux City; a sister, Randi Cooper and her husband, Randy, of Sioux City; seven grandchildren, Chris Capps, Jeff Capps, Logan Wright, Tyler Wright, Zachary Wright, Chris Eytalis and Gregory Eytalis; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents
