Gordon Sickler, 68, of Sioux City, formerly of Corning, Iowa, died Friday, Dec. 5, 2003, at a Sioux City hospital.

Services were held Dec. 9 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Corning. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery, Corning. Arrangements were under the direction of Coen-Beaty-Pearson Family Funeral Home in Corning.

Mr. Sickler was born March 9, 1935, in Corning.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Sickler of Sioux City; his daughters, Ardith (Mike) Klamut of Fairfax, Va., Karla (Mike) Jelonek of York, Pa., and Rayann (Anthony) Palazzolo of Tustin, Calif.; a son, Kelly Sickler of Richmond, Va.; six grandchildren, Kyler, Karson and Karissa Jelonek, Nicole and Jessica Klamut and Gianni Palazzolo; and sisters, Dixie (Harvey) Peterson of Corning, and Donnis (Bruce) Reid of Omaha.

A memorial is being established in his name.
