Vera Avis Hutchinson, 66, formerly of Sioux City, passed away in the early morning hours Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2003, at Kaiser Hospital in Redwood City, Calif.

Memorial services will be 4 to 6 p.m. Monday at Sneider and Sullivan Funeral Home in San Mateo, Calif. Additional services will be held Tuesday in Redondo Beach, Calif.

Vera was born July 25, 1937, in Sioux City, to Wallace and Avis Krone. She lived in the Bay Area for close to 40 years, where she worked in fast food management at the Hillsdale Mall's Wiener House.

She was a loving mother, sister, wife, daughter and friend. Her passing is one of great sadness.

She is survived by her beloved son, Michael Hutchinson of San Mateo; and her cherished brother, Wallace Krone Jr.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, John B. Hutchinson III.
