Jacky D. "Jack" Camarigg, age 60, passed away at the Cleveland Clinic Hospital in Westin, Florida on January 11, 2009, from complications following surgery.

Jacky was born on March 1, 1948 to Gertrude and Donald "Jack" Camarigg in Sioux City, Iowa and was raised on the Camarigg family home farm.

Jacky, a Vietnam Veteran, served in the Air Force from January, 1968 to May, 1969.

Jacky married Barbara "Barb" Pick on January 3, 1977 and settled in Southern California where they made their home for seventeen years before moving to Florida.

He was blessed with two daughters, Donelle Dawn and Candance Mae and two grandchildren, Savannah Nicole and Adam Wesley Waltz.

For the last several years of Jacky's life, he and his wife made their home in Loxahatchee, Florida where he worked as a chassis builder. Jacky's love of drag racing led him and his wife Barb to travel throughout the country attending drag racing events where he enjoyed many happy times with family and friends.

Jacky is survived by his wife Barbara, daughters Donelle Waltz of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Candance Camarigg of Jacksonville, Florida; and grandchildren Savannah and Adam Waltz, both of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Correctionville Cemetery in Correctionville, Iowa with Pastor Sheryl K. Ashley officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Nicklas D. Jensen Funeral Home in Correctionville.
