Linda Kay (Rasmussen) Tiner, 57, of Oxnard, Calif., formerly of Sioux City, died Tuesday, March 5, 2002, at Cedar-Sinai Medical Center of leukemia.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park in Ventura, Calif., with the Rev. John Cherrie officiating. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today at Charles Carroll Chapel of the Good Shepherd in Ventura.

Arrangements are under the direction of Charles Carroll Funeral Home in Ventura.

Mrs. Tiner was born Aug. 29, 1944, in Sioux City, the daughter of Edward "Bus" and Kathleen "Kay" Rasmussen. She graduated from Central High School in 1962.

She moved from Redondo Beach, Calif., to Oxnard three years ago. She was vice president of operations for Ebert Hospitality. She was a volunteer at the Wellness Community providing counseling and assistance to cancer patients.

Survivors include her husband, Donald Tiner; a brother and his wife, Jim and Gwen Rasmussen; three daughters, Kim Ebert, Mona and her husband, Wayne Merritt and Tanya Tiner; two sons, Kelly Ebert and his wife, Samantha and Glen Tiner; and six grandchildren, Laura, Michael, Christina, Jesse, Britni and Rylie.
