SIOUX CITY -- Inez A Ross, age 60, of Sioux City died on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009, at her residence.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Sioux City, with the Rev. David Cox officiating. Interment will be in the Whiting City Cemetery, Whiting, Iowa. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m. and a prayer service at 7:45 p.m., at Waterbury Funeral Service in Sergeant Bluff.

Inez was born in Monona County, Iowa, on April 25, 1949. She came to Sioux City as a young child and attended Hopkins Elementary School and New Hope School.

She was an active bowler who enjoyed square dancing and her participation in the PACE program. She was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church, where she enjoyed being an member of the church choir.

Inez is survived by two sisters and their husbands, Donna Gigaroa (Dennis) of Sioux City and Debbie VanOtterloo (Ron) of Orange City, Iowa. She is also survived by one nephew, Justin Gigaroa; two nieces, Nicole Gigaroa and Stacy Walding; and by her longtime companion, James Palonsky of Sioux City.
