7 December 2009MOVILLE, Iowa -- Kelly Dean Livermore, 39, of Sergeant Bluff, formerly of Moville, died Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009, at a Sioux City hospital. After his many years at Embassy Nursing and Rehab, Kelly is at peace.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Moville United Methodist Church, with Pastor Ed Frank officiating. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery at Moville. Visitation will be 3:30 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m., and a prayer service at 7 p.m., at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of McCulloch Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home in Moville. Online condolences may be sent to christysmith.com.
Kelly was born on Feb. 20, 1970, in Sioux City, to Dean and Mary (Durst) Livermore. He grew up and attended school at Woodbury Central, graduating in 1988. He was an area resident until the time of his accident in the fall of 1988.
He was a member of Moville United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Iowa Army National Guard. His hobbies included football, baseball, weight lifting, cars and time with family.
Survivors include his parents, Dean and Mary Livermore of Moville; a brother and his wife, Neal and Gayle Livermore of Coon Rapids, Minn.; three nieces, Kaylin, Robin and Alison Livermore; as well as his aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
The family wishes to extend their many thanks to friends and staff at Embassy Care Center in Sergeant Bluff.
