SIOUX CITY -- Janet Rae Haar Glover, 44, of Palatine, Ill., formerly of Sioux City, passed away Friday, Dec. 4, 2009, at home, with her loving family at her bedside, following a courageous battle with breast cancer.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 1190 N. Hicks Road, Palatine. Interment will be private. Visitation will be 3 to 8 p.m. Monday at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home in Palatine.

Janet was born in 1965 in Sioux City, the daughter of the late Duane G. Haar and Lillian (Schmidt) Haar Schroeder. She was later baptized into the Christian faith.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Rev. John E. Glover Jr.; loving daughter, Naomi Zoey Glover; her mother, Lillian (Ralph) Haar Schroeder; dear sister of Jeffrey (Ashera), Steven (Barbara), Gregory (Tina) and Franklin Haar; cherished nephews and nieces, Ben, Israel, Nathaniel, Jonathan, David, Aaron, Rachel, Gabrielle, Kayla and Kara; father-in-law, John E. (late Florence) Glover Sr.; and sister-in-law, Jane (Jose) Mia.

In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated in memory of Janet for Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.
