Terry was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Sioux City. He was baptized Nov. 15, 1964, at Calvary Lutheran Church in Sioux City. He participated in the Special Olympics for several years and won several gold medals during this competition. He was especially at ease during the wheelchair races. Terry enjoyed playing darts, video games and playing cards. He was an avid fan of both the Minnesota Twins and Minnesota Vikings, and it never mattered to Terry who won the game, as long as he was able to enjoy the game on television.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and several aunts and uncles.

Memorials may be made to the family so that they may give them to the groups that were important to Terry. The family also wishes to express special thanks to Pastor Schmidt, Hospice of Siouxland, Dr. Blankenship and his staff and Dr. Diane Wurth and the lab staff at St. Luke's Regional Medical Center.
