SIOUX CITY -- Sara Beth Sorenson, 29, of Lake City, Iowa, formerly of Fort Dodge, Iowa, and Sioux City, died Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2009, at a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Lampe Funeral Home in Lake City, with the Rev. Greg Baskerville officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Lampe Funeral Home in Lake City.

Sara is survived by her mother, Sue Sorenson of Storm Lake, Iowa; sister, Mary Ludwig (Bret) of Sac City, Iowa, and nieces Tyrei, Tristin and Emerson; brother, Joe Sorenson (Sandy) of Wichita, Kan., and nieces, Julianna and Oakley; grandparents, Peggy and Daryl Heim of Lake City, Iowa; grandfather, Joe Rhodes of Owensboro, Ky.; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Sorenson; grandmother, Betty Lou Rhodes; and grandfather, Andrew Sorenson.
