Michael B. (Montana) O'Leary, 58, of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Sioux City, died Saturday, March 2, 2002, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids following a lengthy illness.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Jude Catholic Church with the Rev. James Brokman officiating. Visitation will be 3 to 8 p.m. Monday, with a vigil service at 7 p.m., at Teahen Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids. Visitation will continue 9 A.M. to 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mr. O'Leary was born Jan. 31, 1944, in Sioux City, the son of Joseph and Lillian (Blake) O'Leary. He graduated from Blessed Sacrament Elementary, Heelan High School and the Sioux City Area Technical School, all in Sioux City. He married Coramarie Rhubottom on July 10, 1965, in Sioux City.

He was a past adult leader for the Boy Scouts of America and a member of St. Jude Catholic Church and the Desperados western skit group. He was employed for 36 years and seven months by the Square D Company, retiring on March 1, 2002.

Survivors include his wife; three sons and their wives, Jeffery and Deanna and James and Cindy, all of Cedar Rapids, and John and Debra of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two sisters and their husbands, Mary Kay and Wendell Ryan of St. Louis Park, Minn., and Elizabeth and Richard Barry of Fort Madison, Iowa; and six grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Ashleigh, Amanda, Justin, Matthew and Nathan.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Joseph.
