Harriett J. Hair, 78, Holly Springs, Iowa, died Saturday, Deceinber 14, 2002 in a Sioux City hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December. 20, 2002 at Holly Springs Bible Fellowship, Holly Springs, IA with Pastor Jim Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sioux City, IA.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 19, 2002 at the church with a testimony time at 7:00 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Rush Family Care Service, Onawa.

Harriett was born March 25, 1924 in rural Oto, Iowa, the daughter of Jess and Lucy (Fuller) Bennett. She was raised in that area and graduated from Climbing Hill High School in 1942.

She was married to James Hair March 25, 1944 in rural Holly Springs. The couple farmed at Holly Springs where they have maintained their home.

She was a member of Holly Springs Bible Fellowship and was a devoted wife and mother.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, James; a daughter and her husband, Carol and Gerald Carlson of Fremont, NE; three sons and their wives, Bernard and Dawn of Anthon, and Millard and Laura of Hornick, and Vernon and Valerie of Sioux City, and five grandchildren, Shane,
Andrea and Brenda Hair and Scott Brehm.

She was, preceded in death by two sisters, Leola Parkhill and Thelma Barber; a brother Clark and an infant brother.
