Robert E. "Bob" Follis, 77, of Sioux City died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2000.

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Westminster Presbyterian Church with the Revs. Richard Francis and Dan Doran officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Nelson-Berger Morningside Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Follis was born Aug. 11, 1923, in Sioux City, the son of Emmett P. and Maud A. (Anderson) Follis. He attended East High School.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the 536th Engineer Light Pontoon Company. He was employed with Potts Sales for many years until his retirement.

He was of the Presbyterian faith. He enjoyed golf and bowling. He spent many years as a volunteer at Holy Spirit Retirement Home helping with bingo.

Survivors include a sister and her husband, Delores and Merril Lind of Sergeant Bluff; and a niece and her husband, Sharon Lind-Charron and Paul Charron of Willow, Alaska.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence Follis.
