Viola H. "Danie" Moore, age 81, of Correctionville, IA, passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2008 at Mercy Medical Center of Sioux City.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 7, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at the Grace United Methodist Church of Correctionville. Burial was in the Cushing Cemetery at Cushing, IA under direction of The Nicklas D. Jensen Funeral Home of Correctionville.

Viola "Danie" Moore was born on June 27, 1927, in Correctionville, Iowa to Elmer and Elizabeth (Venske) Tincher. She married Wayne Moore on October 21, 1947. Wayne preceded her in death.

She was educated and lived in Correctionville her entire life. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. She worked for Sunrise Manor in housekeeping for many years. She was an avid walker. She enjoyed playing bingo and the company of family and friends.

She is survived by her brother Orville "Bud" Tincher, ten nieces, five nephews and many great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, four brothers, her husband, and two nephews.
