Edward Paul Kroll, 75, of Sioux City died Wednesday, April 5, 2006, at a Sioux City hospital.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Bernie Colorado officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Christy-Smith Morningside Chapel.

Edward was born Aug. 5, 1930, 1930, in Sioux City, the son of Paul and Martha (Berant) Kroll. He grew up in Sioux City and attended Central High School. He entered the U. S. Army after school and served as a military policeman for two years in New Mexico. He was united in marriage to Greta Harris on Oct. 28, 1950. He worked for Chicago Northwestern Railroad and later for Robert’s Dairy as a route driver until they closed. He then worked for the Western Hills Area Education Agency until he retired.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and country music.

Survivors include his wife, Greta Kroll of Sioux City; three daughters, Jill and her husband, Roger Wright of Moville, Iowa, Joy Fisher of Sioux City and Beth and her husband, Brian Kelly of Sioux City; three granddaughters, Stacy Gritten, Abbie Kelly, and Emily Kelly, all of Sioux City, and a great granddaughter, Sara Gritten of Sioux City.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Jeffery Kroll, two sisters, and a brother.
