Whiting, Iowa—Patty Ann Johnson, 46, of Whiting died Tuesday, September 7, 1999, at St. Joseph Hospital in Omaha.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Willman Funeral Home in Rodney, Iowa. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Anthon, Iowa. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Johnson was born May 26, 1953, in Sioux City, the daughter of Kenneth L. and Ruby LaVonne (Mack) Henry. She graduated from Mapleton (Iowa) High School in 1971. She then lived in Georgia.

She married Charles Johnson on April 24, 1972, in Elk Point, S.D. The couple has resided in Whiting, Soldier and Smithland, Iowa. For 17 years.

She was a former member of United Church of Christ in Rodney and United Methodist Church in Hornick, Iowa. She enjoyed country music and collecting clowns.

Survivors include her husband, a daughter and her husband, Jody and Jeff Lawrence of Whiting; two grandsons, Ian and Max Lawrence; four brothers, Kenny Henry and his wife, Carrie of Bermidji, Minn., Steve and Gary Henry, both of Sioux City and Joe Henry of South Sioux City; four sisters, Sandy and her husband, John Johnson of Sergeant Bluff, Diania Yockey and Jim Steinhoff of Castana, Iowa, Elizabeth and her husband, Jerry Worrell of Sioux City and Victoria and her husband, Curtis Palmer of Sloan, Iowa, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Douglas; three nephews and a niece.
