MOVILLE, Iowa — Charles D. Corbin,67, of Moville, died unexpectedly Friday; June 11, 1993; at his home.

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, at Moville United Methodist church with the Rev. Orrin T. Potter officiating. Burial will be in Arlington Township Cemetery, Moville.

McCulloch Funeral Home of Moville handling arrangements. There will be no visitation.

Mr. Corbin was born July 12,1925, at Moville, son of A.W. and Lina (Rayburn) Corbin. He attended Moville public schools. He married Carol J. Bleasdell Dec. 22 1946, at Moville. He farmed northwest of Moville and operated "Chuck and Carol's" station/cafe. He was a backhoe operator.

He was a member of the Wink-Sparks American Legion Post 303.

Survivors include his wife; a son and his wife, Roger and Jodi of Moville; two daughters and their husbands, Linda and Jeff Mahlberg of Moville and Mary and Lowell Pratt of Mesa, Ariz., six grandchildrcn, Stephen, Jeremy, Joshua and Jessica Corbin, Tony Pratt and Misti Pratt Mason; a great-grandson, Tyler Mason, and two brothers, Bill and Dick Corbin, both of Moville.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Alice Campbell and Jean Thorp, and a niece, Vicki Corbin.
