Orlie D. Coover, 56, formerly of Hornick and Sioux City, died Nov. 29 in Pasadena, Calif.

Services and burial were in Pasadena.

Mr. Coover was born March 19, 1924 at Hornick and resided in Sioux City until 20 years ago when he moved to Pasadena.

He served in the U.S. Navy in World War II and was a member of Morntngside Lodge 615 AF&AM. He was a real estate broker in Pasadena at the time of his death.

Survivors include the widow, E. Louise of Pasadena; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Coover of Hornick; three brothers, True and Howard of Sioux City and Thomas of Savannah, Ga.; and four sisters, June Shattuck of Smithland, Iowa, Mina Martinsen of Newcastle, Neb., Joyce Swalley of Sioux Falls, S.D„ and Janis Dahl of San Diego, Calif.
