SIOUX CITY | Ruth Becker, 84, of Sioux City returned to her Lord and Savior on Jan. 24, 2013.

Services will be 11 a.m. today at Riverside Lutheran Church. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until service time today at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Condolences may be sent online to www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Ruth was born on April 28, 1928, in Castana, Iowa.

She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Roy Daniel Becker on June 25, 1946. After residing a few years in Wayne, Neb., they moved to Sioux City to raise their children.

Ruth was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and wife. The joys of her life were her husband, children and grandchildren. Ruth will be remembered by her beautiful, contagious smile and her faith in Christ, who carried her to the end. She was a member of Riverside Lutheran Church. She was a past member of Trinity Lutheran and Concordia Lutheran Churches.

Survivors include her daughters, Joanna Becker Watkins of Sioux City, and Jinna Becker Ralston and her husband, Dana Ralston of Sandy, Utah; and her granddaughters, Caitlin Ralston of Iowa City, Iowa, and Callie (Ralston) Milledge and her husband, Nicholas Milledge of Cypress, Texas.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Roy; their sons, Jesse Becker and Jay Becker; their grandson, Adam Ralston; and Ruth's brothers and sisters.
