Leo A. Cole, 61, former Sioux Cityan, died Monday in Anchorage, Alaska of injuries suffered in an automobile accident. He had resided in Anchorage since 1947.

Cole was born Sept. 5, 191O in Sioux City. He was employed by Cole Electric Co. here as an electriciam He also was an electrician in Alaska.

Mr. Cole was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Merchant Marines.

Survivors include a sister: Mrs. Celia Asmussen of Wayne, Neb., and several nieces and nephews.

The body is being sent to the Ahderson-Perasso Funeral Home.
