William M. Clemmons, 76, of Sioux City died Sunday, Oct. 12, 1997, at a Sioux City
hospital following a lengthy illness.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Berkemier FuneralHome with the Rev. James Bruch, pastor of Sacred Heart Catholic church officiating. Bural will be in Graceland Park cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 8:30 p.m. today with the family present from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Clemmons was born Jan.16, 1921 in Sergeant Bluff.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

He married Darlene Blue on Nov. 21, 1950, in Sioux City. The couple made their home in
Sioux City.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Sherry Hockom and Patty Trudell both of
Sioux City, and Patty Stevenson of Spencer, Iowa, two sons, Bill Trotter and Dana
Clemmons, both of Sioux City; a sister Terri Curtiss of Vivilia, Calif; a niece; 19
grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
