PIERSON, Iowa — Ferrol Burnham, 88, of Pierson died Wedneday, Dec. 3, 1997, at a Sioux City hospital.

Servics will be at 10:30 on Saturday at the Earnest-Michaelson Funeral Home in Kingsley, with the Monsignor Roger Augustine officiating.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Pierson.

Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. today, with the family present from 7 to 8 p.m., and a rosary at 7:30 p.m., at the funeral home.

Mr. Burnham was born Oct. 19, 1909, near Correctionville, Iowa, the son of Arthur 0. and Clara J. (Luddington) Burnham. He spent his childhood in the Correctionville area and graduated from Correctionville High School. After high school he farmed near Pierson, Iowa, until retiring in 1974. He had been a resident of the Kingsley Nursing and Rehab Center for the past three years.

Survivors include ten nieces and nephews, Janice Burros of New Hampton, N.Y., Wayne Burnham of Sergeant Bluff; Adele Weiland of Moville, Iowa, Beverly Reed of Kingsley, Iowa, Anita Franssen of Glenville, Neb., Larry Burnham of Correctionville, Mark of Pierson, Lynette Henry of Holstein, Marcell Hobbs of Kingsley, and Shari Kuchel of Kingsley; 27 great-nieces and nephews; and two great-great-nieces.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Lowell.
