Mrs. Curtis Trogstod, 89, formerly of Sioux City, died Tuesday at her residence in Rapid City, S.D. after a short illness.

Services will be Monday in Benren’s Funeral Home in Rapid City. Burial will be in the United States Military Cemetery in Sturgis. Mrs. Trogstod, the former Louise Pack was born Aug. 10, 1894 in Sioux City. She graduated from Central High School in 1914. She married Helmer Hemnes June 16, 1916. He died in Ute June 1953. She married Curtis Trogstod in June 1957 in Rapid City.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Rapid City. She was a past noble grand and belonged to Rebekah Lodge No. 47 in Rapid City. She was a past worthy matron and belonged to Eastern Star in Rapid City. She was a 27-year member of Gray Ladies of American National Red Cross and the American Legion Auxiliary of Rapid City.

Survivors include her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Tim (Molly) Elliot of Ute, Iowa; one sister, Mrs. John (Josephine) Bruget of Anaheim, Calif.; two granddaughters and four great-grandchildren.
