Beverly A. Shuck, 75, of New Prague, Minn., formerly of Sioux City, died Dec. 6, 2012, at Mala Strana Nursing Home in New Prague.

Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bruzek Funeral Home in New Prague. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.

Beverly was born May 18, 1937, in Sioux City to Oscar A. Van Vick and Blanche L. Den Hartog. She attended Central High School and worked as a grocery store clerk for 35 years in the Sioux City area.

She married Ronald J. "Bud" Shuck on Feb. 27, 1958, in Dakota City, Neb. She and her husband, Bud retired to New Prague in 1992.

Beverly was a member of the Sioux City Police Auxiliary, and enjoyed more than 20 trips to Disney World and the Florida beaches.

Beverly is survived by her husband, Bud of New Prague; son, Richard and Margaret of Hinton, Iowa; daughter, Pam Meyer of New Prague; sisters, Carole Grote of New Prague, and Mildred and Richard Groeneweg of Coto de Casa, Calif.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Jason Jeffords.
