E. Lucile Stevens, 84, of Sioux City, died Tuesday, July 22, 1997 at a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Community Presbyterian Church, Lawton, Iowa; with Rev. Robert E. Peters officiating. Burial will be in Banner Township Cemetery, Lawton.

Visitation will be Friday, 1 to 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at McCulloch Funeral Home in Moville, Iowa.

Mrs. Stevens was born February 7, 1913 in Royal, Neb. to Levi and Dora (Brokaw) Jensen. She attended school in Royal. She married C.G. Stevens August, 16, 1932 in Royal. Following her marriage, they lived in several Nebraska towns until moving to Sioux City in 1945 and to Lawton in 1964. He died October 1981 in Sioux City. She worked at Wincharger from 1952 to 1964. She was also a seamstress for Martin department store. Later, she worked for several stores and for herself.

She was a member of Community Presbyterian Church of Lawton.

Survivors include four daughters, Lois and Lloyd Rohmiller, of Sioux City; Maralyn Wells of Wilder, Idaho, Vera and Roger Dailey of Jefferson, S.D.; Connie and Larry Rosenbaum of Elk Point, S.D.; one son and his wife LeRoy and Jan Stevens of Rapid City, S.D.; 21 grandchildren, 24 great granchildren; two sisters and their husbands, Lottie and Earl Elsberry of Royal, Neb., Bernice and Clay Dixon of Grand Island, Neb.

She was preceded in death by an infant son, Lee Wayne; one grandson Jim Rohmiller, two brothers, Lee and Roy Jensen; one sister Dorothy Berryman.
