MOVILLE, Iowa — Elva, L. Tomlinson, 82 of Moville died Thursday, June 20, 1996, at a Sioux City hospital following a brief illness.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Bethel Lutheran Church in Lawton, Iowa, with the Rev. Bruce Jackson of the church officiating. Burial will be in Arlington Township Cemetery, Moville. Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. Monday, with the family present 7 to 9 p.m. and a 7:30 p.m. prayer service, at the Mc-Culloch Funeral Home in Moville.

Mrs. Tomlinson, the former Elva Wilson, was born April 25, 1914, in Logan, Iowa, the daughter of Theron and Edith (Barnes) Wilson. She later moved to the Moville area, where she lived most of her life. She married Clifford C. Tomlinson on Dec. 16, 1929, in Sioux City. He died Aug. 9, 1985, in Correctionville, Iowa.

Mrs. Tomlinson was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Lawton.

Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Lana and John Boyle of Lawton; three sons and their wives, Clifford "Arlan" and Joan, and Max and Pat, all of Moville, and Marrill and Margaret. "Peggy" of Sioux City; her mother, Edith Wilson of Missouri Valley; a sister and her husband, Lila and Lawrence Short of Missouri Valley; 16 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her father and two sons, Richard Theron and Harold Eugene.
