CUSHING, Iowa — Kenneth W. Hanson, 51, of Cushing died Sunday, Dec. 29, 1991, at University Hospitals in Iowa City.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Cushing United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dee Ann Klapp officiating. Berkemier Funeral Home of Sioux City is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Hanson was born May 21,1940, in Early, the son of Clarence and Ruth (Jacques) Hanson. He moved with his family to Cushing in 1951. He attended Cushing schools and Western Iowa Tech Community College.

Survivors include two daughters, Michelle and her husband, Doug Kirkpatrick of Woodland Park, Colo., and Angela Hanson of Galesburg; his mother, Ruth Hanson of Cushing; a sister, Carol Ploof of Coralville; two brothers, John of Cushing and Dean of Atwater, Minn. and one grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Hanson.
