CUSHING, Iowa — Grace 0. Anfinson, 85, of Cushing died Sunday, Dec. 11, 1994, at the home of her daughter after a long illness of heart problems.

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church in Cushing with the Rev. Dee Ann Klapp and Jerry Jennings officiating. Burial will be in the Cushing Cemetery.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 5 to 8 p.m. at the Barker Funeral Home in Holstein.

Mrs. Anfinson was born July 5, 1909, in Bethel, Mo., the daughter of James and Claudia (Ragar) Jones. She married Fred A. Anfinson Sept. 21, 1926, in Sioux City. The couple made their home in Cushing. He died in 1991 and she moved to Shire Apartments in Sioux City to be near her children.

Mrs. Anfinson was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Cushing and was active in the UMW.

Survivors include a son, Aloyus Anfinson and his wife, Hazel of Sioux City; three daughters, Mrs. Marlen (Beverly D.) Mildenstein and Mrs. Richard (Dana S.) Muckey, both of Sioux City and Mrs. Jerry (Judy E.) Jennings of Warrens, Wis.; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Kay Thompson and her husband, Guy of San Diego, Calif.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Weldon Jones; two sisters, Mrs. John(Polly) Peterson and Mrs. William (Mary) Richardson; a grandson, Barry Mildenstein and a great-grandson, Gregory Jennings Jr.

A memorial has been established in her name with the First United Methodist Church of Cushing.
