MERRILL, Iowa — Joan Phillips, 38, of Merrill died Sunday, Aug. 22, 1999, at a Sioux City hospital of injuries suffered in a motnrcycle accident.

Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Armstrong Funeral Home in Anthon, Iowa, with the Rev. Greg Carter and Dennis Mix officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Phillips was born Aug, 29. 1960, in Perham, Minn., the daughter of Floyd and Darlene (Wickham) Estlick. She was raised and attended school in Perham and attended Oak Park Academy. She also completed a secretarial course at Western lowe Tech Community College.

She married Robert Phillips. She was employed with Mid-American Energy for 15 years.

She was a member of a bowling league at Sweet 16 Lanes in Le Mars, Iowa. She enjoyed antiquing and gardening.

Survivors include her husband; her parents of Perham; three brothers, Mark Estlick of Salt Lake City, Mike Estlick and his wife Joyce of Richville, Minn., and Tom Estlick and his wife, Jennifer of Perham; two sisters, Abby Bizzett of Golden, Colo., and Laura Lee and her husband, Fred Carter of Lincoln, Neb.; and six nieces.
