Myrtle E. (Crawford) Waldman, 67, of Sioux City died Monday, Nov. 30, 1998, at her residence following a lengthy illness.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Nelson-Berger Morningside Chapel, with the Rev. Susan Miller, Hospice chaplain, officiating. Burial will be in Holly Springs Cemetery, Holly Springs, Iowa. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.

Mrs. Waldman was born Jan. 29, 1931, in Sioux City. She attended Sioux City schools. She married Richard W. Brownmiller. He died in 1979. She married and divorced Jack Waldman of Moville, Iowa.

She was employed at the Riverboat Inn until retiring in June 1998.

Survivors include five daughters, Peggy and her husband, Rick Schmidt, of Moville, Melissa and her husband, Mike Bradbury, of Greenville, Iowa, Bev Eblen of Lake Ozarks, Mo., Paula Brownmiller of Cushing,Okla., and Pam Grooms of Lexington, N.C.; a son, Richard W. Brownmiller Jr. and his wife, Tracy, of Sioux City; 17 grandchildren; and a special friend, Willard Cooper.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Ronda; and five sisters.

Memorials in her name may be directed to Siouxland Regiona Cancer Center.
