Anna Mary Porter, 87, of Sioux City died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 1998, at the Matney Westside Manor following a lenghty illness.

Services will be at 12:30 a.m. Saturday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Susan Miller, Chaplain at Hospice of Siouxland, officiating. Burial will be in Willow Township Cemetery at Holly Springs, Iowa. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. today, with the family present from 7 to 9 p.m., at the funeral home.

Mrs. Porter was born Oct. 28, 1910, in Hornick, Iowa, the daughter of George H. and Mary 0. (Wagg) Fuller.

She married Walter Porter on May 23, 1929, in Sioux City. He died June 1982, in Sioux City. She was employed with National Optical Company for several years. She was a Stanley representative for many years.

Survivors include a son, Walter J. "Jim" of California; five daughters, Charlotte Britton and her husband Clifford of Sheldon, Iowa; Betty Wieck and her husband Ray and Beatrice Lilly, all of Sioux City, Mary Tinin and her husband Tom of Scott, Ark. and Evelyn Morgan and her husband Ron of Westminster, Colo.; a brother and his wife, Edward and Elsie Fuller of Bloomfield, N.M.; two sisters, Irene Sullivan of Sioux City and Maxine Asay of Oregon; 20 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great¬grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters, two grandsons and a great-grandson.

Pallbearers will be Martin Young, Dennis Morgan, Rick and Roger Britton, Duane Hanner and Elton Baker.
