SALIX, Iowa — Donna Lou Wilder, 45, of Salix died Friday, Nov. 6, 1998 at a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the United. Methodist Church in Hornick with Pastor Ed Elliott officiating. Burial will be in Willow Township Cemetery in rural Holly Springs.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m., at the Wood Funeral Home in Sloan, Iowa.

Mrs. Wilder was born June 28, 1953 in Onawa,Iowa the daughter of Wayne and Mary (Steele) Smith. She graduated from Westwood Community School in Sloan. She had lived in Hornick, Climbing Hill and Salix for the last 22 years.

She married David Wilder on Dec. 8, 1973 at the First Christian Church in Onawa.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Staci and Amy both of Salix; one son, Dustin of Salix; her mother, Mary of Sloan; two sisters and their husbands, Carolyn and Rick Ramsaran of Sergeant Bluff and Patricia and Lowell Sarff of Sioux City; two brothers and their wives, Chuck and Joan of Hawarden, Iowa and Bob and Tammi of Sloan and several other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her father and a daughter, Heidi Jo.
