Harold North Walker, 93, of Correctionville died Sunday, Aug. 18, 1996, at Colonial Manor Nursing Home,Correctionville.

Services will be 10:30 Tuesday at Grace United Methodist Church, Correctionville with the
Rev. Dee Ann Klapp officiating: Burial will be in the Correctionville Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6:30 to 8 p.m., at the Barker Funeral Home in Correctionville.

Mr. Walker was born Feb. 9, 1903, in Correctionville, the son of Frank 0. and Clara Lenore (North) Walker.

He attended rural schools in the Correctionville area through the eighth grade.

He married Marvel Smith Aug. 11, 1942, in Maryville, Mo. He was a lifelong Correctionville area farmer. He retired in 1975 and moved, into town. In June 1995 he moved to Colonial Manor.

Mr. Walker was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and raising watermelons.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Raymond and his wife, Darlene Walker of Correctionville and a
grandson, Scott Walker of Correctionville.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, Roy Walker.
