November 08, 2012SIOUX CITY | Marian Pechacek Schwarze, 97, of Jackson, Tenn., formerly of Sioux City, passed away Nov. 3, 2012 at her residence.
Mrs. Schwarze will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery, Sioux City next to her family who have gone on before her. Arrangements are under the direction of George A. Smith and Sons in Jackson.
Mrs. Schwarze was born on July 1, 1915, in Sioux City, to the late Herbert W. and Etta Williams Brackney. She was born in Iowa, retired to Florida, and after the death of her second husband, moved to Jackson to be closer to her son, Alan.
She was a longstanding member of P.E.O. and a member of the Junior League in Sioux City.
She is survived by her son, Dr. Alan Pechacek (Nancy) of Jackson; grandchildren, Eric and Jennifer Pechacek, and Frank and Clint Pechacek; and great-grandson, Brackney Drew Pechacek.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Edgar F. Pechacek in 1981; her second husband, Fred Schwarze in 2005; and a son, Drew Pechacek.
