SIOUX CITY | Kay Lorraine Williams, 68, of Winterset, Iowa, formerly of Sioux City, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012, at home surrounded by family.

Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at West Des Moines Christian Church, 4501 Mills Civic Parkway, in West Des Moines. Kay will be laid to rest in Berwick Cemetery. A luncheon will follow at Saylorville Fire Department. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Iles Funeral Homes-Dunn's Chapel in Des Moines. Online condolences may be left at www.IlesCares.com.

She was born in Sioux City, on Sept. 10, 1944, to William and Marian Haller. She celebrated 27 years of wonderful marriage to Ronald Williams. She recently retired after 32 years as bookkeeper and office manager at Williams Millwork.

Kay loved to travel with her best friend and husband, Ron, to a variety of places including her favorite, Acapulco.

Kay is survived by her husband, Ron of Winterset; sister, Chardy Beaumont of Omaha; two sons, Randy (Kim) Rawlings of Medina, Ohio, and Todd (Jody) Rawlings of Knoxville, Iowa; a stepdaughter, Denise Williams of West Des Moines; and stepson, Ronald Williams of Des Moines. Kay is remembered as a loving wife, caring mother and beloved grandmother of 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be directed to John Stoddard Cancer Center.
