Adolph B.Camerer, 90, of Sergeant Bluff died Monday, Jan. 23, 1995, at Burgess Memorial hospital in Onawa following a brief illness.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Sergeant Bluff Community United Methodist Church with Dr. Paul Samuelson officiating. Visitation will be 7 to 8 p.m. today at Christy Smith and Hockenberry Momingside Funeral Home. Burial will be in Woodbury Township Cemetery in Sergeant Bluff.

Mr.Camerer was born Nov. 11,1904, at Brown's Lake at Salix, Iowa. His family moved to Sergeant Bluff where he attended school. He married Bertha A. Kauper.

He worked for the Northwestern Railroad, Holtz Construction Co., The Air Base Motor Pool and Quartermaster. He was a security guard for Wells Fargo for 14 years and drove for Dr. Comney for 13 years.

He was, a member of the Sergeant Bluff United Methodist Church where he was a one time member of the church board. He was a member of the first Sergeant Bluff Volunteer Fire Department and was a member for 26 years, he was a member of the Old Settlers Picnic for many years and served on the Sergeant Bluff town council for four years.

Survivors include his wife; a son James of Sergeant Bluff; and two sisters, Frances Barker of Napoleon,Mo., and Dorothy Durham of Sergeant Bluff.
