Viola J. Bradshaw 1903 - 1997

Viola J. Bradshaw, 93, of North Sioux City died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 1997, at a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Riverside United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Merrill Muller officiating. Burial will be in Sergeant Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday, with the family present from 7 to 8:30 p.m., at the Berkemier Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bradshaw was born May 9, 1903, in Monroe, Neb., the daughter of Fred and Maude (Bacon) Soulliere. She moved, with her family, to Niobrara, Neb. as a child. She married Elmer Bradshaw on March 3, 1918, in Niobrara. The couple moved to North Sioux City in 1928. He died April 1, 1965. She was employed at Big Sioux Tourist Park and later at Sioux City Battery Company.

Survivors include three daughters, Weida and her husband Leonard Sexton of North Sioux City, Margaret Moriston and her fiance Willie Wilson of Sioux City, and Violet and her husband Myron Kruger of Salix, Iowa; a son, Robert of North Sioux City; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two great-great-grandchildren; two brothers; and a sister.
