Rosella A. Mandicino, 84, of San Pablo, Calif., formerly of Sioux City, died Thursday, May 13, 1999, at a San Pablo hospital following a brief illness.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Joe Dillinger of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church officiating. Burial will be in Woodbury Township Cemetery, Sergeant Bluff. Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Mandicino was born March 12, 1915, in Madison, Minn., the daughter of Robert and Susan (Graser) Phillips.

She married Domenick Mandicino on Sept. 15, 1931, in Sioux City. He died Jan. 13, 1965, in Sioux City.

She had lived in San Pablo for 34 years. Prior to that, she lived in Sioux City. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in San Pablo.

Survivorg include three sons, Ralph and his wife, Edith and Robert and his wife, Connie, all of Sioux City and Thomas of Pittsburg, Calif.; two daughters, Patricia Hedges of San Pablo and Carol and her husband, Rick Byers of Chulavista, Calif.; a brother, Vincent Phillips of Pittsburg; two sisters, Margaret Woods of Carmel, Calif., and Mildred Furness of Sioux City; 18 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Donald.

Pallbearers will be Bruce and Matthew Johnson, Ronnie Sampson, Tim Graves, Terry Booe and Dennis Jansott
