SERGEANT BLUFF — Blanche E. Rundle, 92, of Winchester, Ind., formerly of Sergeant Bluff, died Friday, March 26, 1999, at Randolph Nursing Home in Winchester.

Services were held Sunday, March 28, at Walker Funeral Home in Winchester. Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in Woodbury Township Cemetery, Sergeant Bluff. Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Christy-Smith Funeral Home in Sioux City.

Mrs. Rundle was born Sept. 16, 1906, in Salix, Iowa, the daughter of Chris and Anena (Christensen) Jepson. She was employed with Sergeant Bluff Post Office and in the cafeteria at Sergeant Bluff School. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred W. Rundle in 1980.

She was a member of Sergeant Bluff Community Methodist Church.

Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Wanda and Fred Housel of Winchester; two grandsons, John and Ronald Housel; three great-grandchildren; and a niece and nephew.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Edward Jepson; two sisters, Ann Fuller and Eva Jepson; and a niece.

Memorials may be directed to American Diabetes Association or Sergeant Bluff Community Methodist Church.
