Irene R. Hart, 89, of Correctionville died Sunday, April 26, 1998, at Correctionville Nursing and Rehab Center in Correctionville.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Anthon, Iowa with the Rev. David J. Hogan officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. today with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. and a Christian wake service at 7 p.m. at Barker Funeral Home in Correctionville.
Mrs. Hart was born Dec. 30, 1908, in Correctionville, the daughter of Paul and Mary Ann (Carr) Flemming. She attended rural schools in the Correctionville area, graduating in 1927.
She married Peter Stoltz Hart Nov. 24, 1938, in Anthon, Iowa. She worked for the local telephone office for several years prior to her marriage, after which she was a homeŽmaker. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Correctionville.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; four sisters, Lucille Flemming, Pauline Flemming, Ida Kathleen Burnham, and Vivian Sevening; and four brothers, Leo, Clarence, Gerald, and Paul Wilfred Flemming
